Brainstorming brand work into a new gear at Espoo

The City of Espoo sought for a sparring partner to enrich and clarify its brand and communicate its new strategy’s Espoo-story.


Espoo wished to stand out with a fresh approach to communication and invite all its key stakeholders to participate in discussions towards developing the city. Espoo’s goal was to form a collective, clear and interesting entity, which would be meaningful for every person in Espoo.


Cocomms held four workshops where Espoo’s top management, key personnel and experts, altogether over 100 people, discussed and identified Espoo’s new main lines of communication according to the city’s new strategy. In the workshops, discussions were held on communication trends, best practices from around the world and appropriate tools and approaches for public sector communication.
